OurThread ("we," "us," "our") makes OurThread, a mobile app that lets couples document relationship milestones together on a shared timeline. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier for your account and, if you allow it, your email address. We do not require your real name — you choose a display name during onboarding, and you can change it any time in Settings.
Couple and relationship data. The start date of your relationship, your invite code, and which two accounts are linked as a couple.
Moments. Titles, notes, dates, locations, and photos you add to your timeline, and which of the two of you created each entry.
Photos. Images you upload are stored in encrypted cloud storage and are only accessible to the two members of your couple.
Subscription information. Whether your couple has an active premium subscription, who purchased it, and renewal status. This is provided to us by RevenueCat and Apple; we do not receive or store your payment card details.
Device and diagnostic data. Standard technical data such as device type, operating system version, and crash logs, used only to keep the app working correctly.
We do not collect location tracking, contacts, or browsing history, and we do not use your data for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work, each bound to protect it:
